Wolves Welcome New Players
The Wolves welcomed their new roster of players for the forthcoming Super League season today.New signings Rob Smyth, Steve Georgallis, Jerome Guisset, Martin Masella, David Kidwell and Kevin Walters were on hand to talk to the press and show the Wolves strength and ambition for the new season.Amongst them were aussie Grand Final Captain Kevin Walters, who only arrived in the country in the small hours, but will be hard at training with his new team mates in the next day or so.
Walters in particular has shown that the Wolves are looking to better their 6th place in Super League V and are gunning for a top five spot. The wealth of experience from the likes of Walters, Langer, Gee, Georgallis and Nikau add to the young raw talent of Danny Nutley, Jamie Stenhouse, David Alstead, Paul Noone and Will Cowell.Walters is without doubt a prize signing, and the opportunity to see him play alongside his old partner Allan Langer is not to be missed, neither is the opportunity to team up with the Wolves young half-back Lee Briers who has shown that he is a star in the making.
