Wolves thank Brookson for its support
The successful twelve-month principal shirt sponsorship between Warrington Wolves and local specialist accountancy firm Brookson comes to a close at the end of this season but the partnership between the two businesses will remain strong and continue to grow in the seasons ahead.
Brookson and the Wolves have been associates for many years and put the deal in place to ensure the club had a shirt sponsor while it negotiated a long-term commercial agreement, giving both businesses the chance to showcase the successes they have had in recent years.
Carolyn Nevinson, founder of Brookson, is a big Wolves fan and was pleased that the firm could support the local club. She is delighted with how the partnership has gone, commenting:
"I have had a long-term involvement with the Warrington Wolves through the local business community and Brookson has supported the club through many testimonials and events. The partnership has been between two organisations that know how to win and put on a great performance.
"Brookson's support for the Wolves has helped usher in an exciting new era for the club and we will continue to be a part of that as we pass on the proud custody of the shirt sponsorship. Brookson's ethos is about caring for our colleagues and customers and working hard to do our best for both. That's how the Wolves deal with business on and off the pitch too and that's why we'll continue to work together in the future."
Brookson provides services to more than 60,000 contractors, freelancers and self-employed professionals across the UK. Many of its award-winning team are Wolves fans, a fact not lost on Wolves' CEO Andy Gatcliffe.
Andy said: "Brookson has been brilliant for us and a huge supporter of the team. The passion the staff clearly have for their own business shone through to ours, and it's been fantastic to have two national leaders in their own areas work together in Warrington for the good of the community.
"I look forward to continuing our relationship with Brookson and we've been proud to wear their logo this year."
