Wolves Squad For Home Opener
Warrington Wolves will open their 2013 Super League campaign this Sunday when they host Castleford Tigers, kick-off 3pm.
Warrington have won their last seven meetings against Castleford with the Tigers' last win coming 28-6 at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Easter Monday, 2009.
Wolves' head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith names his first 19-man squad of Super League XVIII.
"We're excited about the new campaign arriving and about what we'd like to achieve this year. We are certainly excited about Sunday's game kicking off our season at home which I think is really important. We've done a lot of hard work in the pre-season and it's now time for that to kick into gear.
"Castleford have probably had as many changes in personnel as any team in the competition so they are a bit of an unknown quantity. They started the season pretty well last year so we are expecting a really tough game but if we are able to perform like we are capable of, it could be a tough game for Castleford too."
