Wolves Respond to Lindsay
In response to Maurice Lindsay's comments in the Rugby Leaguer on Page 5, regarding Mark Hilton's arm injury. Warrington Wolves have released the following statement: "Mark's initial injury happened while on England duty. Warrington Wolves provided specialist treatment, which was followed up until a specialist cleared him. Mark Hilton was fully fit by the time he left Warrington Wolves. No one could anticipate non - union due to keloid, being laid around the fracture site. Mark should verify that he was given the best treatment that Warrington could offer. Mr Lindsay signed Mark Hilton, then he found out there was a problem with his arm. No one could anticipate the problems that Mark has since faced. Warrington Wolves are disappointed by Maurice Lindsay's comments and consider them inappropriate."
