Wolves Engineer Development Partner
A Warrington Business with a global reputation is making a substantial investment into the Wolves' Player Development plans. Simon and Paul Taberham, who own Howley-based Tab Refractories, have earmarked thousands of pounds to go to the Super League club in sponsorship. Managing Director, Simon Taberham said "I have been encouraged to see Steve give some of the young players a run out in recent games. Tab have a similar philosophy to the Wolves, as it is the only refractory company in Europe to continuously take school-leaver apprentices and give them a career pathway." Wolves' Director of Community and Marketing Adam Jude is delighted with the deal. He said "Simon is impressed with performance director Steve Anderson's policy and with the way he has already introduced young players into the first team since his arrival." "Simon and Paul are Warrington born and bred and realise the benefit of the club putting time and energy into developing the young talent that there is in the community." Wolves Performance Director, Steve Anderson coaching philosophy is based on development and he is reassured regarding the faith the business have already shown in his future plans for the Wolves. He stated that, "The commitment Tab is making, is going to assist the development of future professional players and this is great news for the club and the town as a whole."
