Wolves' One Community Day
One Community Day is now just around the corner as we look to celebrate junior rugby in the town and showcase the increasingly popular ‘Play Touch Rugby' as local teams take to the hallowed turf at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.
The club and Wolves' Charitable Foundation have joined forces in celebration of Rugby League within the town.
If you would like to join in the fun on Saturday 17th August and watch Rugby League at it's best, entry on the day will be from 9.45am via the Jack Fish Corner of the stadium.
Admission will be priced at £1 adults and free for under 16s. East stand kiosks will be open for the purchase of refreshments throughout the day along with other stalls and inflatables inside the ground. You can also take the opportunity to walk the club's Heritage Timeline and find out a bit more about your hometown club.
The junior matches will run from 10am until 2pm involving children from ages seven to 11 before the adult Touch Rugby kicks off at 2pm.
There are limited spaces still available for adult teams to enter priced at £50 per team of up to 10 people.
Feeling lucky? The afternoon will culminate in a Race Night in the Martin Dawes Stand Lounge from 4.30 until 6.30pm. The opportunity to sponsor a horse is still up for grabs priced at £10 each.
