WORLD BOOK DAY 2006 - THURSDAY 2ND MARCH
World Book day celebrates the love of books and reading.
The main aim is to encourage children to explore the pleasure of books and reading by providing them with the opportunity to have a book of their own.
Wolfie visited Barnton Primary School in Northwich to offer his howl of approval. He also took with him suggestions from the Wolves players of interesting books to read.
At the end of the Assembly the scary teacher, Annette Chapman, read a terrifying poem written by Roald Dahl called Little Red Riding Hood. Wolfie did not like the ending and left the school very quickly!!!
