Wilderspool for the Womens Final
Wilderspool is to play host to the inaugural Women's World Series, which will be run alongside this year's Lincoln Financial Group World Cup in October. The opening game will take place at Wakefield on November 6, with the final at Wilderspool on Friday, November 24 - the night before the World Cup final at Old Trafford. Teams from Great Britain and Ireland, New Zealand, Australia and the New Zealand Moaris will battle it out at six venues in the Winter: Monday, November 6: Great Britain and Ireland v Australia (Belle Vue, Wakefield) Tuesday, November 7: New Zealand Maori v New Zealand (Boulevard, Hull) Friday, November 10: New Zealand Maori v Australia, Great Britain and Ireland v New Zealand (both at South Leeds Stadium) Friday, November 17: Play-offs (1st v 4th, 2nd v 3rd, Spotland, Rochdale) Friday, November 24: Third place play-off and final (Wilderspool, Warrington)
