Andy Gatcliffe


Andy Gatcliffe has a hands on business background in Sales and Marketing/Business Management and has held a number of Senior Management positions and Directorships with several large food service/ distribution companies.

He is presently in his fifth year as Chief Executive at Warrington Wolves RLFC and has overseen the Club/ Business move into the purpose built Haliwell Jones Stadium. Previous recorded losses of circa £3/4m per annum have been overturned with the business now delivering a profit. Andy is also a Director of the Rugby Super League and the RFL which manages the Super League clubs.


John Gartside

John has had an extensive senior management career in a variety of public services including Assistant Director of a Higher/Further Education College, Leader of a Local Authority, member of the Warrington/ Runcorn New Town Development Corporation, and a member of the Cheshire Police Authority- chairing one of its main committee's.

He currently Chairs the NHS 5 Borough's Partnership which is a large specialist trust which provides mental health and learning disability services to a population of over 1 million people. He has also been appointed to the Cheshire Courts Board as a Magistrate in Warrington by the the Department of Constitutional Affairs, where he shows particular interest in the Youth Court, and is also a member of the Big Lottery Fund Board which distributes over half of all lottery money.

He also holds the title of Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire, Freeman of Warrington and has been awarded the OBE for services to Warrington.


Kelly Simcock

Kelly currently works for 'Children for Peace' as a project worker, and is also a local Labour councillor for Whittle Hall. Initial founder of Padgate Gymnastics which has recently merged with Warrington Gym Club, and a National Gymnastics Coach, Kelly is highly regarded in her field both in and out of sport.


Nicola Priest

Nicola has recently been promoted to group editor of Guardian Series Newspapers, and brings a wealth of media experience to the Board and works closely with the Foundation in promoting their work.


Pat Kitto

Pat's background lies in Industry, working for ICI, and the Health Service, for Rainhill Hospital. However, since 1979 she has worked at Warrington Collegiate in a variety of roles including Medical Secretaries Course Leader through to Head of Adult Education.

Pat is currently a member of the Senior Management Team as a Director of Lifelong Learning and External Affairs, having responsibility for the Community College, Human Resources, Operations, Health and Safety, External Funding and Administrative support.

Peter Carey

Peter is now retired, and the Honorary Vice President of Warrington Wolves RLFC, but was formerly a Financial Director of Warrington Borough Council. He works tirelessly for charities including last year's successful Mayor's Ball.


Terry O'Neill

Terry is the portfolio holder for sustainable regeneration. This includes economic, environmental and social regeneration, particularly focusing on the deprived areas of the borough. He is charged with ensuring that decisions affecting Warrington reflect the aspirations of the council.
