Toa And Danny Get Two

Kiwi centre Toa Kohe-Love has been banned for two matches and fined ú300 for a high tackle on Wigans Steve Renouf in the opening Super League game last friday. Forward Danny Nutley has also received a two match ban and fined ú300 for striking during the match. Loose forward Tawera Nikau has received "Sending Off Sufficient" and has been cleared of starting the last fight of the match. Wigan Warriors forward Mick Cassidy was suspended for two games and fined ú400 for striking during the same game. Toa Kohe Love and Danny Nutley will miss this Sunday's (11/02/01) Silk Cut Challenge Cup Quarter final against Villeneuve Leopards. They will also miss the Tetley's Super League home opener for Warrington Wolves against Hull F.C (18/03/01). The Executive Committee also issued a formal letter to Wolves hooker David Highton about their future behaviour. The letter will be placed on his personal file and will be made available in the future if required to the Disciplinary Committee, if David is ever called before them. The club will issue a formal statement after the Executive Committee re-convenes on Thursday at 11:00am, to consider the total impact of the Tetley's Bitter Super League fixture.
