Super Leaguve V ends on a High for Wolves!
Sunday saw Wolves end the season with a win against Salford City Reds and a 6,969 crowd. Wolves have now had record crowds against 10 of the 11 Super League clubs. Wolves have broke thier previous Super League record three time during the season with a record attendance of 9,086 against St. Helens.The average gate this season has been 6,887 up 34% on 1999. Warrington have beaten their previous best of 5,210 in 1997.Allan Langer commented "The crowds have been amazing in my first full season, they have been very vocal, really getting behind the team. The support base at the club is one of the best."In all matches played this season the average gate has been recorded at 6,745 which is the best 1972/3 when the gate was an average of 7,200. 101,181 watched all the matches including the Cup match v York.
