Super League V - Round 27 Team News

Troubled club Wakefield Trinity Wildcats are the penultimate team to face the Wolves this season, and with only one point between seventh and sixth the Wolves will be looking to take advantage of the Yorkshire clubs woes. The Wildcats have applied for a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) and have let all players above the age of 24 go as free agents, although some have been re-signed on deals that will see them play the last two games of the season. Coach Tony Kemp has also left and John Harbin, the clubs Football Manager, will take over in the mean time. The Wolves are also likely to field a young squad, with 18 year-old Prop Forward and member of last seasons Academy Grand Final squad Paul Wood taking a place alongside other youngsters Jamie Stenhouse, Paul Noone, Mark Gleason and David Alstead. The squad is: Lee Penny Jamie Stenhouse Alan Hunte Mark Forster Lee Briers Allan Langer Andrew Gee Danny Farrar Danny Nutley Steve McCurrie Tawera Nikau Paul Noone Jerome Guisset Mike Peters Dean Busby Paul Noone Paul Wood David Alstead Out for the rest of the season, but likely to be availble for the Maori World Cup Squad is Toa Kohe-Love who suffered a broken thumb on Sunday. Also missing for the Wolves is Ian Knott who left the field of play after two minutes on Sunday with a blow to the head. Back in the lineup is Lee Penny who has recovered from a calf strain.
