Statement from The Board
Following the announcement last week from Darryl van de Velde that he was not seeking an extension to his current contract, which expires at the end of the season. The Board of Directors is sorry that Darryl has chosen to leave, but fully support his decision, which has been based on family reasons. The Board thanks Darryl for his commitment and professionalism throughout his period at the Club. The Board are now actively seeking a successor to Darryl and hope to be in a position to name a replacement Head Coach by the end of July 2001 and are inviting application for this position.
