Statement from Alf
I would like to thank all of the Warrington fans for their support over the last two seasons. It has been amazing, the chanting has been overpowering at times and really helped the team at crucial moments by lifting spirits. You guys have been the loudest speccies I have come across in Super League and I hope that this will continue I am sad to leave Warrington, but due to my ankle injury detoriating and having to play through the pain barrier more often of late, I fell I have no choice but to end my career prematurely. I take with me many a fond memory of the Wolves, I have made many friends here and will always have a soft spot for Warrington. I hope to return one day to watch a game. I hope that you continue to support the Wire. I would just like to finish by saying a big Thank You to you all for making my two seasons with Warrington Wolves special ones. Allan
