Round 10 Team News

With last weeks opportunity to rise into sixth place sadly lost the Wolves have a match in which they play a side that is below them in the table but able to play some stunning rugby to a high degree. The two teams immediately above the Wolves, Castleford (on nine points) and London (on ten points), face each other this afternoon but only a runaway victory by the homeside would give us any chance of increasing a place this evening with a -51 points deficit. With the Public Inquiry in full swing and the likelihood of the Inspector visiting the match the game is under more scrutiny than usual, and two important points are up for grabs. Squad: Hunte Smyth Love Sibbit Penny Briers Langer Masella Clarke Nutley Mercer Busby Nikau Subs. Alstead McCurrie Guisset Kidwell The return of Lee Penny to the squad after last week ruling himself out still unfit is a boost. Also straight in on loan from London Broncos at hooker is Jon Clarke who has taken over from the injured Dave Highton. Dave Highton is likely to be out for the next 8 weeks with his facial fracture but is looking to get back into the team as soon as possible and has been training with the first team squad. Steve Georgallis, who impressed with his workrate and commitment, is looking to be available for the last three games of the season and is anxious to get back to some training.
