Roper to the Reds
On-loan Jon Roper will join Salford City Reds after his loan period with London Broncos finishes. Roper will see out the last four games of the season with the Salford club and could ironically face the Wolves in the last game of the season at Wilderspool on September 17th. The cumbrian, whose contract with the Wolves is due up at the end of the season, may be looking to make the move permanent. Salford Chief Executive Dave Tarry confirmed, "Jon Roper will be joining us on loan until the end of the season." Roper who made his club debut in the 93/94 season, was a once a Great Britain tourist, has played 121 games with Warrington scoring 53 times and kicking 83 goals.
