Question Time
A good turnout greeted the six new signings at the wolves Q&A session with Darryl giving away one or two secrets for the new season. The new men lined up and took questions from the floor with forward Martin Masella and wise-cracking Kevvie Walters stealing the show.
Coach Darryl Van de Velde was also on hand to answer the fans questions and shed some light on the forthcoming season.Darryl's revealed that the old Walters and Langer partnership is likely to be back in full swing for the start of the season, with the two former Brisbane team-mates linking up once again for what was one of the most formidable half-back partnerships in the modern era."It won't take long to get the combination going again and I'm really looking forward to it.", commented Walters on the possibility of playing alongside Langer and facing some tough Super League opposition. All players agreed that their recent trip to Plymouth to train with the Commandos has done them the world of good, they felt physically and most importantly mentally strong for the new season."This is the team I've had since I've been at Warrington, I know I probably said that last year but this years team is better.", commented Van de Velde. The possibility of a pre-season match sometime in early February was also mentioned, though that depended on who the club drew in the Challenge Cup and the teams pre-season preparations.Darryl also put down the rumours that Alan Hunte wouldn't be coming back, the head coach confirmed that Hunte would be returning in a couple of weeks from his off-season stint in Welsh Rugby Union.
