Prop Idols Go Public in WarringtonLondon Bronco's 'Prop Idols' role into town this weekend. Last week, London named three young players who will compete against Warrington Wolves in this Sunday's fixture. The three winners are: James Hersey, 20, who plays for Leicester Tigers Under 21 side; 25 year old Bristol publisher Michael Lowis; and Sam Wilson, 21, a New Zealand student who has played League extensively. The trio has made it through hundreds of applicants to win the contest, and one of them will land a contract with the Broncos after their trial period. All three will be on display on Sunday. This will be an opportunity to prove themselves at professional level. The scheme has seen the Broncos receive nation-wide media coverage.London Coach Tony Rea commented, "I think the 'Prop Idol' concept has been received so well, not just by the public, but the press as well, because of what it brings to the game as a whole, particularly London. Of the three winners we have two young men who have never played our game before. That's fantastic. It can only help our game in the south."For your chance to see the lads in action come down to Wilderspool Stadium on Sunday 2nd February at 3:00pm.
