All about..............Rugby League Development
Junior representatives from the Woolston Rovers and Crosfields Amateur Clubs will be collecting money on behalf of Rugby League Development.
A key part of the Service Area focus is its player development programme. Every player wants to represent his or her hometown. The Warrington Wolves Player Development Centres are the first major step on the Elite Performance Pathway.
This is where the future Warrington Wolves players are nurtured and developed. Close links are in place between the community Rugby League clubs and the Wolves youth development and performance departments help ensure a consistent pathway for all players and coaches involved.
Current Warrington Wolves squad members who came through the programme include Chris Riley, Tyrone McCarthy, Rhys Evans, Gareth O'Brien and James Laithwaite.
This ambitious set-up gives an estimated 200 players access to specialist coaching and personal development on the performance pathway.
Anyone who wants to support the programme through sponsorship or further donations can contact: Neil Kelly, Director Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation
