Phones 4U connects with Wolves
Phones 4U, the UK's leading mobile phone retailer, has secured it's connection with Warrington by becoming an associate sponsor of Warrington Wolves. The deal which runs until the end of the 2002 season, will see the Phones 4U logo appear on the club's shirts and shorts and on sponsor boards around the stadium. The sponsorship marks the latest development in the company's continueed aggresive assault on the mobile phone market which has seen the company build up a nationwide network of stores, including one at Market Gate in the town centre. Paul Hamburger, Phones 4U marketing Director said, "This is our first sponsorship deal in Rugby League and we are looking forward to working with Warrington Wolves and their fans. Our aim is to be more than just a name on a shirt. We will be running a number of player signing sessions, competitions, Wolves branded services and exclusive offers for fans."
