The Wolves got their Super League V campaign off to a flying start with a 48-18 victory over the London Broncos. Lee Briers 8 goals pushed the Wolves towards the fifty mark, but the half century was not to be."I was really happy with the second half, I thought we played well and it's indicative of the scoreline", commented Coach Van de Velde, "They came here to play the game and the first forty minutes they played well, we had to match them physically in the second half and I though we did that well.""You have to experience the crowd, it was the biggest crowd we've had here and the noise and way they sing and carry on pumps you up, and in the second half they really got us going.", commentd Langer on the Wolves fans.Another record was broken at the match with a new Wolves Super League attendance of 8,718.Steve Blakeley and Ian Knott both came off but both are not thought to be carrying serious knocks.
