Nutley Signs for Sharks
Warrington Wolves player, Danny Nutley, 27 has signed a two year deal with Cronulla Sharks for the 2002 NRL campaign. Danny signed for Warrington Wolves from South Queensland Crushers prior to the 1998 season. Nutley, has played 98+1 games for the Wolves scoring 3 tries. Danny commented, "I have signed a two year deal with the Sharks. It is a great opportunity for me and I am looking forward to the new challenge in Australia. I have enjoyed my time with the Wolves and my aim for the rest of the season is to make our way into the top Five." The Warrington Wolves Board commented, "Over recent weeks there have been several meetings with Danny Nutley over his future career path. The Club was extremely keen to retain Danny's services and a greatly improved offer was made to him, to which he gave his full consideration. It has not been an easy decision for Danny but personal family circumstances have taken priority for him at this time. As a result he will be returning home to Australia at the end of the season to join the Cronulla Sharks."
