James Lowes appointed Head Coach until end of the season

Warrington Wolves can confirm that James Lowes has been appointed as Head Coach until the end of the 2008 Super League campaign.

James Lowes had been given the role on a temporary basis since Paul Cullen's departure on May 27th, winning his first two fixtures in charge against Harlequins and Hull KR.

Lowes commenting on his appointment:

"I'm pleased it is all sorted out. I've never denied the fact I've wanted to be a Head Coach, I said that when I joined from Salford. I'm going to enjoy the next ten games as best I can. I hope now we can get back to talking about what goes on in the game rather than off the field."

"The boys have responded well so far in training and on match day. There is still improvement in this side and its up us to keep working hard and, on the back off that, keep picking up two points"
