Warrington Wolves have unveiled their latest Aussie import, Gareth Jones, who can do 100 metres in less than 3 seconds!
Move over Dwain Chambers, Warrington Wolves have unveiled their latest Aussie import, Gareth Jones, who can do 100 metres in less than 3 seconds! Albeit on the back of a Superbike.

Gareth Jones who hails from Gold Coast, Australia is staying in Warrington until November while he competes in the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup, a support class to the world superbikes championship, with Gareth riding for the prestigious Mist Suzuki Team.
Gareth's family hail from Warrington and are all huge Wolves Supporters and were determined to introduce Gareth to the delights of the Halliwell Jones Stadium:
" Warrington is a great base for me, my cousins are all here and they've helped me to settle in. They are all mad keen Warrington supporters and want me to follow in their footsteps." Jones enthused.
Gareth being brought up in Queensland is no stranger to Rugby League:
" I love the footie, my team's the Gold Coast Titans. I'm looking forward to taking in the games here when I'm not racing and I hope the Wolves fans keep an out for my results while I race around Europe"

British bike fans will be able to catch Gareth racing at Brands Hatch on 3rd August and Donnington on 7th September. Gareth has previously raced primarily in Australia and New Zealand, winning the 2008 Paeroa street race as part of the New Zealand Superbike Series.
Warrington Wolves are happy to support Gareth on his quest for glory on the bike and have supplied him with Wolves shirt and scarf to wear around the circuits of Europe with pride.
