Morley: It's very exciting
Forward Adrian Morley is hoping he can captain his side to another Wembley appearance before moving on next season.
The Wolves are 80-minutes away from a place in the Tetley's Challenge Cup final and face a tough encounter with Hull FC this coming Sunday.
"At the start of the year, before a ball was kicked, when you looked at the Hull squad people were saying they were one of the favourites to take out the Super League but it's not quite worked out that way. They've been a bit inconsistent but there are still a lot of big guns there and when those big guns fire they are more than a match for anyone as we found out here a couple of months ago. It's going to be tough but it's all about getting our preparation right and hopefully getting the result we want and another trip down to Wembley.
"We've had a bit of success in this competition over the last few years. It's very exciting; the only thing more exciting than a semi-final is the actual final. There's a big carrot at stake for whoever wins this game and I just feel that the experience we've had in this competition, at this stage in the competition, and our good Super League form will hopefully be too much for them."
The Warrington faithful will once again play their part on Sunday evening.
"In each and every round, in each year of our success in the Cup, the spectators have played a huge part. My favourite was when we played Huddersfield over there and we outnumbered the Huddersfield fans on their home soil which was great. I think Hull have sold a lot of tickets but we are confident in the Warrington fans getting there in numbers as they always do. We know what it means to them so hopefully we can give them another trip.
"Hopefully we can give them something to cheer about. Each one has been magical in its own right and we'd dearly love to emulate that this year."
And on what it would mean to him to reach another final and to be in with a chance of lifting the silverware once again Adrian added: "Just for me personally, as I am moving on, it would be incredible if we could do it again this year. We are in a pretty healthy state at the moment, only Ryan Atkins not available, with a really healthy squad and healthy competition for places, which is what you need. We are raring to go for Sunday."
