McDowell SignsInjury hit Wolves have swooped again, signing youngster Craig McDowell, he joins the Wolves from World Club Champions the Bradford Bulls. McDowell, 21, can play at stand off or loose forward and is on loan for a month. Craig has previously been on loan at Halifax this season. McDowell is a product of the Whitehaven based amateur club Kells and represented Cumbria at Academy level in 1999. Wolves Head Coach David Plange is pleased to have signed McDowell, "Craig is a big, strong, aggressive player, who has got a tremendous pair of hands. He's been unlucky not to get first team football at Bradford and again at Halifax." "He'll need to gain some match fitness but I'm confident that he will go well for the Wolves as he played a good level of rugby".
