Masella the Man
An exciting prospect Martin Masella has signed for Warrington Wolves from Wakefield Trinity Wildcats after being released from the Overseas quota, on contract terms for a year.Masella is a highly respected Tongan International front row forward, who's previous clubs include Illawarra, Souths, Balmain, Leeds and recently Wakefield. Martin will bring that extensive first grade experience to the Wolves for SL VI.He played for Tonga in the 1995 World Cup and has been named in this years Lincoln World Cup squad also.Darryl Van de Velde is looking forward to Martin Masella joining the club for Super League VI, "Martin has a good approach to the game which I admire, he has a very aggressive work rate and having him on side will bring new strength to the side. It will give me a chance to rotate the props and breath new blood into the team."Martin commented, "It is fantastic, a breath of fresh air in my life after Trinity. I am excited at the prospect of playing alongside Allan Langer, having played against him for years. Warrington has a formidable side and I am looking forward to joining them. I think that we can go higher in Super League VI and I am going to give 110% to achieving that goal."
