Life Programme
LIFE INITIATIVE FOR ENTERPRISE â (LIFE PROGRAMME)
Pupils from Birchwood, Great Sankey and Sir Thomas Boteler High School have recently been involved in the LIFE programme.
The LIFE programme (Life Initiative for Enterprise) involves Year 9 (13/14 years olds) students in groups of 10, working with Companies through a six-week development programme. One group of students have been working at The Halliwell Jones Stadium with the Wolves Foundation Team for a period of 5 weeks, focusing on different life skills which include communication, production and manufacturing, problem solving and presentation skills.
Students were also given an insight to the various Departments within the Club and how a business is run.
The culmination of the Programme saw the students deliver a Presentation at the International Business Centre to a panel of judges, all about their placement.
