Life Membership HonouredWarrington Wolves will honour Life Memberships paid to æWarrington Football Club LtdÆ in their move to The Halliwell Jones Stadium. These Life Memberships will be continued on the provision of documentary evidence of payment to æWarrington Football Club LtdÆ and evidence of identity. Members providing this documentation should contact the Chief Executive Andy Gatcliffe who will then issue the Life Member with their new season ticket for the TetleyÆs Super League IX season. However Life Members of the Wilderspool Centre Ltd will not be continued into The Halliwell Jones Stadium, as this Membership was for the Wilderspool Centre Ltd, i.e. the leisure centre which is situated at Wilderspool Stadium which will not be transferred into the new stadium. The Board have issued the following statement,"During recent years, the Club has had to review many operational and financial matters and the issue of Life Membership of the Wilderspool Centre Ltd. has proved to be one of the more æsensitiveÆ therefore to address.ôThe Board of Directors have given this issue a great deal of consideration and whilst it is fully recognised that the payment of ú105.00 back in 1975 was a lot of money, the Life Membership only related to the life of Wilderspool and will not therefore be continued at the new stadium."Some of the current Life Members of the Wilderspool Centre Ltd have stated that they in fact paid monies in later years (late 1970s/early 1980s) directly to Warrington Football Club Ltd and in regard to this, the Club can confirm that Life Membership will be continued at the new stadium on the provision of documentary evidence to support this."
