Laithwaite makes debut
Young back-rower James Laithwaite made his first team debut for the Wolves in yesterday's match versus the Robins and has been allocated Heritage Number 1104.
James, 21, has impressed in the academy ranks for a number of years stepping up to Super League last season on loan with yesterday's opponents Hull KR.
In the off-season he agreed a deal to keep him at the Wolves until November 2015 so his first team debut yesterday is set to be one of many in the top-flight for Warrington.
He has trained well alongside the first team squad since being part of the initial group of players to be promoted in 2010. He also represented England u18s in the series against Australian Schoolboys in 2010 winning man of the match in the first game, and is developing and maturing as a player for the future.
To mark his debut James' parents were invited down to training to present him with his playing shirt ahead of the game.
