Home Advantage
The pitch at The Halliwell Jones Stadium has had many exciting contests played on it throughout 2012 in the Carnegie Challenge Cup, Stobart Super League and the end of season play-offs.
With only two losses on home soil this season the pitch and stadium atmosphere certainly gave us home advantage.
In preparation for the 2013 campaign and the upcoming Rugby League World Cup the club and associates Mallinsons have set to work on giving the pitch a make-over.
The pitch is currently being re-surfaced and will be reseeded with ongoing work set in place throughout the off-season to ensure it is first-class for Super League XVIII.
