Holiday Activities
'SING YOUR HEARTS OUT WITH THE LADS!'
The Wolves Charitable Foundation would like to invite YOU to be part of their latest exciting Fundraising initiative.
On Monday 22nd October 2007 from 1pm - 2pm, we will be working with professional outfit Orchard Studios to make a recording of the specially written,'Wolfie's Song' at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.
We are hoping that over 2,000 people - children, Mums, Dads, in fact everyone with an interest in Warrington Wolves and The Foundation - will come along to the Stadium to sing along on this unique recording.
The CD will be available for sale in time for Christmas and will also include material previously recorded by schools in the town and special bonus tracks recorded by some of the Wolves stars!
Wolfie will be in attendance to lead the singing and it is hoped that a couple of the Wolves stars will also be on hand to help out!
The CD will raise vital funds to enable The Foundation to continue with their work in the local community supporting young people with positive activities and messages covering health, sport and education.
This is a great opportunity for all Wolves fans to get together and wear your colours in support of the Wolves' own charity.
If you want to be part of this special occasion and help the youngsters in your town, please register your attendance by Wednesday 17th October by contacting The Foundation offices on 248894 or email community@warringtonwolves.com.
WHY NOT PRACTICE THE WORDS TO WOLFIE'S SONG!
COME ON WOLVES!
Verse 1
In the north of the Cheshire plains,
You'll find us in sun and rain,
Hunting together, Warrington Wolves forever,
See how we fly - hungry for tries,
Come on and sing our battle-cry!
Chorus
AA-WOOOO, AA-WOOOO,
Come on Wolves, Come on Wolves,
AA-WOOO, AA-WOOOO,
Come on Wolves, Come on Wolves,
AA-WOOOO
Verse 2
In the heart of every scrum,
At the start of every run,
Wolves into battle, winning the tackle,
Get down and scrum, never give up,
Until we conquer and win the cup.
Chorus
Come on Wolves, Come on Wolves,
AA-WOOOO, AA-WOOOO,
Come on Wolves, Come on Wolves,
AA-WOOOO
Verse 3
In a sea of blue and gold,
We're something to behold,
Always advancing, we're ever-chancing,
We'll never rest, giving our best,
Playing to win, North, South, East, West!
Chorus, (ad lib)

HALF TERM FUN WITH FRONTIS HOMES
AND THE FOUNDATION
A great new partnership, between Frontis Homes and The Warrington Wolves Community Learning and Sport Foundation, was launched this half-term.
They joined together to bring a week full of fun and fitness for children in the Birchwood area of Warrington. The children took part in activities including football, tag rugby, tri golf, box-fit, speed and agility training, and an introduction to the new touch rugby programme.
At the end of the week, the children were paid a special visit by Wolfie and Wolves stars Mark Gleeson, Chris Riley and Kevin Penny, who sampled some of the activities which had been on offer.
Mark Gleeson (pictured playing golf) commented, 'It's great to see the children playing new sports, not only rugby and football, and keeping active during the school holidays'.
Special thanks to Birchwood CE Primary School for use of their facilities.
HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES 2006

During the Easter school holidays, Warrington Wolves held two stomping Dance Workshops at Powerleague, Warrington.
The workshops were taught by the Wolves brand new Dance Choreographer, Stacey Goodall, and were open to both boys and girls in two age groups, 7-11 and 12+.
Over 40 children attended and were taught different styles of dance including Lindy Hop, Street Dance and African as well as being encouraged to create their own routines.
Dominic Walker, from Wire FM's Breakfast Show, completed his 'Battle of the Sexes' forfeit by participating in the Lindy Hop and twinkle-toed Wolves stars Ben Harrison, Michael Sullivan and Danny Lima also joined in the fun.
Following on from the success of our Easter Dance Workshops, The Foundation's Summer Activity Programme included another day of dance at Power League.
FUSION choreographer, Stacey Goodall, taught twenty children between the ages of 7 and 11 the art of both Street and Break Dancing. Wolves players Andy Bracek and Martin Ridyard came along to hand out certificates and goody bags to all who took part.

The Wolves Foundation teamed up with the Warrington Borough Council's Youth and Play Service this summer to provide activities for young people.
They were able to take part in DJ workshops on the Community floor and express themselves with Graffiti artwork based underneath the South Stand.
Mark Hilton dropped in on one of the sessions, to the surprise of the young people involved. Mark, known as 'The Beast' took to the decks and has put his name forward for Creamfields next year!
The Graffiti artwork is now on permanent display underneath the South Stand for Fans to admire.
The Old Fish Market in the Golden Square provided a wonderful venue as the Engage Super League Touchdown Road Show landed in Warrington.
Hundreds of people - fans, shoppers and even a few distracted shoplifters - participated in, or were enthralled by, the various activities. The Engage inflatable, complete with bungee run, was the star attraction, supported by Fusion - the Community Dance team - SAQ drills and Tri-Golf.
Tina Clare, Sponsorship Co-ordinator for Engage Mutual Assurance, was delighted with the response adding that 'The contribution of the Wolves Foundation staff was outstanding and helped to make the day a great success,'
Despite atrocious weather conditions, the third Powergen Skills Day attracted over 90 children to The Halliwell Jones Stadium on 18th August.
The day was crammed with excitement and fun and Wolfie was in attendance to prevent 'excessive giddiness' from the Wolves Foundation Team.
After watching the Wolves 1st team's training session, the kids were treated to a Stadium Tour and various concourse activities such rugby skills coaching, Tri-golf and a session on the Philip Williams Play-Wall.
