Guisset Returns
Jerome Guisset has returned to Warrington Wolves to take up his second year option on his contract. Jerome will play in the Boxing Day Challenge against Salford City Reds.It was reported that Guisset had left the club to sign for UTC in France. Guisset has always been registered to Warrington Wolves. When he returned to France for World Cup training he took up a playing with UTC as part of his training and has played with them since the World Cup.Guisset played for Canberra Raiders in 1999, making four appearances. He was the second Frenchman to play first grade rugby league in Australia. He was the first Frenchman to sign for Warrington Wolves. Guisset made 12 + 11 sub appearances and scored 7 tries for the Wolves last season.It was always expected that he would return to play for the Wolves after the World Cup and his holiday in France to play in Super League VI.Jerome commented, "I am really looking forward to coming back to Warrington Wolves. The standards of Super league and competition are high and competitive, which I find challenging. The club and Darryl have been good to me and I am looking forward to being part of the squad in Super League VI.I am confident of a top five place with the new signings that Darryl has made in the close season and I am looking forward to working with Kevin Walters, Martin Masella, David Kidwell and it will be fun to be alongside Rob Smyth again."
