Gleeson makes it 5Warrington Wolves have re-signed hooker Mark Gleeson, 20 on a one year deal. The signing of Mark takes Paul CullenĂs pre-season signings up to four with having already signed Mike Wainwright from Salford, Brent Grose from South Sydney Rabbitohs and Ian Sibbit from Melbourne Storm, with PaulĂs fifth being Warren Stevens who signed at the end of the TetleyĂs Super League Vii. Gleeson left the club in May to travel Australia visiting friends and family where he continued to play rugby league at town level. Mark joined pre-season training with the Wolves last week.Mark signed for the Wolves originally in 1999 to the Academy from the Wigan amateur club, Ince St. Williams. He progressed through the ranks and made his debut at Super League level last year against Bradford Bulls (04/08/01) scoring a try on his debut. Until is departure in May Mark made 3 full and 4 substitutes, scoring 4 tries.Gleeson last season proved to be a popular player with the Wilderspool crowd and was voted among the Junior fans as the ŠMost Improved playerĂ have played 21 games out of 23 in Super League V for the Academy scoring 13 tries.
