Gee Out for Season
Warrington Wolves prop; Andrew Gee faces the rest of the season out due to injury. Gee Gee, as he is popularly known injured his left shoulder in a tackle against London Broncos at the weekend. Andrew came back from a right shoulder reconstruction pre-season to Super League VI. Andrew Gee is due to fly home to Australia for a shoulder reconstruction at the end of May. Head Coach, Darryl Van de Velde commented, "It is a very disappointing injury to Gee Gee, and to happen at this time of the season is just bad luck for him and the team. Andrew will return to Australia at the end of the month for the operation and we will see how it goes from there." Andrew Gee released the following statement, "I am returning home for a shoulder operation and I will be out for rest of the season. I will assess the situation from there. I have never had a shoulder injury before and I have now had two in twelve months. But that is rugby league for you."
