Evans Heads To Bradford

Welsh-born prop Ben Evans has agreed a one-year loan deal with Super League side Bradford Bulls for 2013.

Ben, 20, joined the Wolves back in 2009 with his twin brother Rhys, making the move up north to pursue their Rugby League careers.

He progressed through the Wolves' scholarship and academy schemes, making the step up into the first team training squad in 2010. In the same year Ben went onto represent England Academy in their series win over Australian Schoolboys.

Ben has since continued to excel within the under 20s competition playing his part in this year's Valvoline Cup Grand Final win alongside his brother.

This autumn has seen Ben represent Wales as part of this year's international series alongside England and France.

His loan spell will look to play a massive part in Ben's development providing him with the opportunity to develop his game and push for a regular place within the top-flight Super League competition.

Ben said: "I am really looking forward to it.  It should be a good move for and I will get some game time.  I met up with Francis Cummins last week and I was impressed with his ideas for the club.  I also spoke to Matty Blythe and he is really pleased for me and we will be travelling over together."

Ben will remain a Warrington Wolves player with a contract already in place for the 2014 season.

All at the Warrington club would like to wish Ben all the best for his time at Bradford.
