Deaks speaks to the fans
Wolves Chief Executive Peter Deakin spoke to Wolf Web after the defeat by Huddersfield/Sheffield Giants. "There is very little I can say. You can't create a great club with a performance like that second half. That was the most disgraceful second half performance I've ever seen, or been associated with at any level of sport." "All I can do is apologise to the sponsors, to the people involved with this club and most importantly I'd like to say sorry to the fans, because that was absolutely diabolical and they deserve far more than this and they haven't had it and I feel sorry for them. Something will be done to rectify the problems." Some fans felt so agrieved after the second half performance that they staged a sit-in in the Railway End before moving over to air their views with Peter Deakin.
