Deakin pays tribute to fans
Chief Excutive Peter Deakin paid tribute to the travelling army of fans at the Round 19 match against Wigan Warriors, "Our fans were magnificent and out shouted the home fans for the whole game. They made full use of the acoustics in the stadium and Head Coach Darrtl Van de Veldetold me that the players enjoyed the atmosphere but were disappointed not to ger a result."Deakin continued, "If we get the necessary planning permission for the 12,000 capacity stadium, Warrington Wolves home games in years to come will be the place to be."Both David Highton and Jerome Guisset left the field of play last night. Highton has a knee injury and is receiving treatment. Seconf row Jerome Guisset, who was carried from the field in a neck brace will see the club Doctor later today to check the extent of the injury. The good news is that Jerome was walking about after the game and travelled home witht the team.
