Cullens CommentPaul Cullen gives his view on the Saints game last week and looks towards this Friday evening against the Huddersfield Giants.POST MORTEM TO FRIDAY NIGHT?Very simple, the sin bin killed us; two tries in that ten minutes period took a very good St Helens side too far away. One poor kick chase and the quality that we are all aware of who was invited to score. A SECOND DEFEAT TO ANOTHER TOP TABLE CONTENDER, DOES THAT REINFORCE THE GAP BETWEEN POSITION 1/2 AND 3/4 SPOT?With out doubt and the fact that we don't hide from, we will have to beat our very best to beat Saints or Leeds and no team can afford to be down to 12 men against them.DO YOU THINK THE TEAM MISSED BRIERS' EXPERIENCE AND COMMUNICATION?We have beaten a number of teams this year with out Lee Briers or Nathan Wood and occasionally without either of them. We did very well to push Saints backwards, our kick and chase was excellent with one exception, but our composure at the top end of the field failed to break them down. That does not mean they can't be broken if and when we get to full strength.WHAT HAVE YOU DONE THIS WEEK IN TRAINING TO CORRECT THOSE MISTAKES MADE?Reinforced our go forward to kick and chase and hopefully made more efficient use of our shape and structures in their twenty. THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF COMMENTS IN THE PRESS SINCE FRIDAY'S GAME SAYING THAT ANDREW JOHNS IS WARRINGTON'S SAVIOUR. DO YOU THINK THERE IS TOO MUCH EXPECTATION OF JOHN'S WINNING GAMES SINGLE HANDEDLY?With the exception of Saints and Leeds all the other ten teams rely heavily on one- go to- man, we are working very hard to spread the work load. HUDDERSFIELD THIS WEEK, ARE YOU EXPECTING A TOUGH CONTEST?As always against the Giants, especially with Paul Reilly returning from his suspension.WHO ARE THE DANGER MEN FOR THE GIANTS?Their go- to man offensively is Chris Thorman with Brad Drew always a threat running from dummy half. HOW IS GRAHAM APPO AFTER FRIDAY'S GAME?Apps was a little dazed between the ears and a little sore in the shoulder, but is rehabbing with a real purpose and is aiming to be fit and available for Widnes.ARE YOU EXPECTING LEE BACK FOR THIS WEEKEND?No we will air on the side of caution; we are aiming for Widnes, ironically the game six weeks ago when he originally did it. The attempted short term comebacks have not worked and the thigh has now been completely shutdown and protected.HOW IS THE RECRUITING PLAN FOR 2006 COMING ALONG?Quietly and efficiently.
