Cullens CommentThe Leeds match, the future and what news of signings, Paul Cullen as ever pulls no punches.WHATĂS YOUR POST-MORTEM OF THE LEEDS MATCH?I thought the guts, effort and skill on display from all 17 of my players was absolutely remarkable and that gives me great hope going into the final three games of the season. IĂm delighted with the way we approached the game and the way we employed our talent. We opened up a very decent side and had them on the back foot for the majority of the match. This augurs well for the future of Warrington Wolves Rugby League Club and the players should be proud of themselves. There are signs of mental toughness in this side that have not been seen at Wilderspool for a long time. It was evident against Widnes last week and it was evident again on Friday. To come back in the manner that we did against such a quality side speaks volumes for our fighting spirit. I didnĂt think the game was beyond us at any stage and when Graham Appo stepped up to convert Nathan WoodĂs try I thought we would go on to win.We came unstuck on the prevention of off-loads and that is where the game was won and lost. But long gone are the days when Leeds were putting 50 points on Warrington. We are getting better against Leeds with every performance and it is only a matter of time before we beat them.WE ARE STILL SHOWING SIGNS OF INCONSISTENTCY HAVING NOT WON TWO GAMES IN A ROW SINCE ROUND 15/16 WHEN WE BEAT WIDNES AND THEN HUDDERSFIELD. HOW ARE YOU AIMING TO REMEDY THIS?I have been asked many times about our levels of consistency this year and I totally agree that we are not as consistent as we were last season.ARE TOP 6 STILL WITHIN OUR SIGHTS?Absolutely, our main drive is to test ourselves once more against one of genuine Top 4.WHAT IS THE INJURY SITUATION AFTER LEEDS?The injuries fresh from the Leeds game are Ian Sibbit with a fractured thumb; Jerome Guisset with ligament damage to the wrist, Nick Fozzard picked up a calf injury and has struggled to recover in training this week. Sid Domic has come through training very well and is set to start at loose forward after suffering from an asthma attack after being heavily winded, Darren Burns has also recovered from a facial injury that he sustained in Round 24 against Widnes and he will start in the second row.THE RUMOUR MILL HAS BEEN GOING INTO OVERDRIVE LATELY REGARDING CONTRACTS AND CURRENT PLAYERS. WHEN WILL YOU BE ANNOUNCING WHO HAS SIGNED AND WHO HAS BEEN RELEASED?We will announce our intentions for next season when our commitments to this one have finished.
