He is improving all the time and I am glad that we have signed him. The future is in bright young players like Jon. He's a local lad from Lowton and it's an indication of the club looking at home-grown talent. The signing of Jon Clarke is a clear indication of the club going forward and looking to the future." Jon Clarke commented, "I'm delighted to have signed for a club with a Rugby League tradition. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the fans and the club for making me feel welcome and giving me the opportunity to play rugby. My focus now is Saturday's game against St Helens and then the aim of the season of making it into the Top Five."
