Briers in Origin
Wolves stand off Lee Briers has been selected for the Lancashire squad for the Origin: The Game 2001 on 5th June 2001, at Headingley. Briers made an impact on the Lincoln World Cup 2000 in a strong partnership with Iesytn Harris, will they revive that partnership for the Origin? Lee joined Warrington in 1997 from neighbours St Helens, 1999 has been his most successful year for the club amassing 196 points from 83 goals, 6 tries and six field goals. Lee looks on target to beat that total this season with 9 tries and 40 goals (108 points) from 13 appearances.
