Briers - No fracture!
It has been confirmed that Lee Briers has not fractured his thumb as first feared last night in the Origin game. Lee represented Lancashire in the Origin game at Headingley last night, but left the field after approx 30 minutes of the first half after taking a knock in a tackle. Briers, the only Warrington player to have been picked for this years Origin game, is likely to be side lined for Warrington's game against Salford at the Willows on Sunday, as a precaution until the swelling reduces.
