Boxing Day Challenge
Warrington Wolves v Salford City Reds Wilderspool Stadium Kick Off 3pm- A first in Super League history for Warrington Wolves playing on Boxing Day.
- Returning to the team from World Cup duties Lee Briers from Wales and Toa Kohe Love from New Zealand Maoris.
- Young stars Jamie Stenhouse, Mark Gleeson ( Man of the Match of the South Sydney Rabbitohs match ), Paul Noone, Paul Wood and Dave Alstead will feature.
- Salford City Reds line up include Steve Blakeley, Mike Wainwright (Warrington old boys), possible appearance of Martin Offiah and Tom O'Reilly on trial after featuring in the Papua New Guinea World Cup team.
- A chance to see Rebble the Devil, the new funked up Salford mascot and the one the only Wolfie!
- Ticket Prices: Brian Bevan Stand: ú12 (concession: ú7), Ground ú9 (concession ú5), Children: ú3 or ú2 with voucher in Warrington Guardian.
- Wolfie and Rebel the Devil will be in Golden Square on Saturday 23rd December 2000 from 11am promoting the Boxing Day Challenge and distributing ú1 concession tickets for Junior Admission.
- Jerome Guisset returns to the Wolves for Super League VI and will be playing on Boxing Day v. Salford City Reds.
