Alleged Fraud by Third Party
Lord Hoyle, Chairman of Warrington Wolves, issued the following statement: "An alleged fraud by a third party agent formerly associated with the Club is being investigated by the police at the Club's request. This matter is now sub judice, the allegations do not involve any current and past employee, director or officer of the Club. No further comment can be made other than to confirm that the allegations relate to an individual who is not directly connected with the Club. In the meantime the Board is continuing to progress its ambitious plans for the Club centred on a new stadium development in Warrington."
