Alan Hunte experienced injury while at Pontyridd Rugby Union in the Rugby League off-season, but has come back from injury successful. Both are looking forward to the game as preparation to the Super League season.
Toa And Danny Get TwoKiwi centre Toa Kohe-Love has been banned for two matches and fined ú300 for a high tackle on Wigans Steve Renouf in the opening Super League game last friday.Forward Danny Nutley has also received a two match ban and fined ú300 for striking during the match.Loose forward Tawera Nikau has received "Sending Off Sufficient" and has been cleared of starting the last fight of the match. Wigan Warriors forward Mick Cassidy was suspended for two games and fined ú400 for striking during the same game.Toa Kohe Love and Danny Nutley will miss this Sunday's (11/02/01) Silk Cut Challenge Cup Quarter final against Villeneuve Leopards. They will also miss the Tetley's Super League home opener for Warrington Wolves against Hull F.C (18/03/01).The Executive Committee also issued a formal letter to Wolves hooker David Highton about their future behaviour. The letter will be placed on his personal file and will be made available in the future if required to the Disciplinary Committee, if David is ever called before them.The club will issue a formal statement after the Executive Committee re-convenes on Thursday at 11:00am, to consider the total impact of the Tetley's Bitter Super League fixture.

Alternative Strip a Hit!Fans were unanimous in their verdict that the new Wolves alternative strip is a hit!The strip was launched at the "Allan Langer Night" where fans gathered to watch an exclsuive video of the ozzy wizard, charting his career from games in his back yard to full test cap status.The new strip will be on sale from the club tomorrow and is priced £42, the extra £2 paying for the embroidered Tetley logo.
Miss it, miss out!Warrington Wolves are urging fans to buy their tickets ahead of Sunday's game against Leigh in the Silk Cut Challenge Cup Round 5, to avoid disappointment. The game is not an all ticket game, but the early take up by Leigh and Warrington fans indicate, that on Sunday tickets will be in demand.Leigh has sent out the message that the support from their club is going to out number the Warrington fans. Kevin Ashcroft, Commercial Manager at Leigh estimates a minimum of 4,000 fans making the trip to Wilderspool.Adam Jude, Chief Operations Officer at the Wolves commented, "They're all on a high at Leigh. Media DayA successful Media Day was held by the Wolves today, with journalists, photographers and broadcasters from all over attending at Warrington's Town Hall.It was a chance for the press to meet with the players and coaching staff prior to the start of the season and also a chance to have team and individual photographs taken.
