Cullens CommentPaul Cullen gives hisview on the victory over the Centurions at the Weekend and looks towards this wekeends clash with Salford at the Halliwell-Jones.CONGRATULATIONS ON THE VICTORY OVER LEIGH CENTURIONS AT THE WEEKEND. WERE YOU SLIGHTLY WORRIED WHEN YOU WERE TRAILING AT THE BREAK?It is interesting to see how we perform when we don't have it all our own way. If or when we get to the play offs, we will spend time under pressure on our own line and we will spend time going backwards in defence; managing these situations during the game is a challenge that we are confident we can achieve. YOU ARE QUOTED AS SAYING "WE INTEND TO HANG ON TO THIRD SPOT." HOW DO YOU INTEND TO DO THIS?By respecting the teams and their efforts who are below us!ONLY 2 POINTS SEPARATE THIRD FROM FIFTH AT THE MINUTE IN THE ENGAGE SUPER LEAGUE. DO YOU BELIEVE WARRINGTON CAN KEEP UP THE GOOD FORM UNTIL THE END OF THE SEASON AND POSSIBLY CEMENT THIRD SPOT FOR THE PLAY OFFS?At the moment we are winning games while not in peak form. We have as many injuries as most and have just as many reasons not to win games; the most encouraging aspect of our current effort is that we choose not to accept them.SALFORD GAVE ST. HELENS QUITE A SCARE IN ROUND 17 AND WILL BE LOOKING TO END THEIR LOSING STREAK AGAINST WARRINGTON THIS WEEKEND. ARE YOU EXPECTING A TOUGH ENCOUNTER AND IS THERE ANY INJURY NEWS FOR THIS WEEKEND?Mike Wainwright is our only serious doubt, his effort to get to his feet and defend our try line after sustaining such a nasty injury is typical of his commitment to our club.CHRIS BRIDGE HAS REALLY SHONE THIS SEASON WITH BOTH HIS GOAL KICKING, AND TRY SCORING, ABILITIES. ARE YOU EXPECTING HIM TO HAVE A BIG FUTURE IN RUGBY LEAGUE?His form and confidence grow with every training session and every game. His defence equals his offence and he scores points, he makes it very difficult for me to leave out. He is achieving this standard at the moment without any pre season training and he is working very hard both on and off the field to full fill his potential.YOU HAVE A WEEKS GAP COMING UP DUE TO THE CHALLENGE CUP. HAS THIS COME AT THE RIGHT TIME FOR YOU AND THE PLAYERS?We would rather be in it but will use the time rest and recuperate. THERE ARE QUITE A NUMBER OF PLAYERS OUT OF CONTRACT AT THE END OF THE SEASON. ARE YOU LOOKING TO BRING IN NEW FACES, STICK WITH A SUCCESSFUL TEAM SO FAR, OR A COMBINATION OF BOTH?The latter but we will concentrate on 2005, to respect the players who are contracted for this period and our supporters who have paid for it!WHY PAUL RAUHIHI?We are delighted to capture a player of Paul's quality and experience, to add a prop forward with such a dynamic go forward to are existing pack whilst third in Super League is just another clear indication of our ambition and intent.
