A Message From The King
Former Wolves' centre Matt King will line up for the Rabbitohs in a fortnight's time in the pre-season friendly against the Wolves.
Matt has met up with the team on their pre-season tour in Australia sponsored by Emirates, but renowned for being a firm fans' favourite Matt catches up with the supporters here on warringtonwolves.com.
"Since the girls and I have returned home we have been busy catching up with family and friends. During the four years we had in the UK we only came home once so there were quite a few beers to get through!
"The move to Sydney was a daunting one but we're not too sure what we were worried about. Sydney has been great with so much going on and our little girl Charlie loves the beach!"
Matt has joined the South Sydney Rabbitohs and will make his debut against his former teammates on Saturday 28th January.
"Training with the Rabbitohs has been tough but really good. We have at least one session per week at the beach and getting a tan whilst training is nice! I just can't wait for footy to start now.
"It's pretty weird to think my first game for the Bunnies is against the Wolves. I'll be very nervous to come up against some great mates but that will also make the game exciting for me. I'll have to be on top of my game as I know what these players can do!!!"
