Directions to Huddersfield Giants

By Car:

From M62 West - Exit M62 at J24
Follow signs for Huddsersfield Town centre (A629).

After approx 2 miles follow signs for the Galpharm Stadium turning left onto Castlegate ring road, turn left onto Leeds Rd (A62), then follow the official car park signs.

From M62 East-North - Exit M62 at J25
Turn left and follow signs for Hudds Town Centre (A62) then follow the official car park signs.

From M1 South - Exit M1 at J42
Continue west on M62. Exit M62 at J25.

Turn left and follow signs for Huddersfield Town Centre (A62) then follow the official car park signs.

By Rail:

Trains from London either go from Euston, via Manchester, or from Kings Cross via Leeds. The typical travel time is 3 to 3 and a quarter hours.

From Huddersfield Train Station
Exit the train station and head across the square in the direction of The George Hotel. In front of you are a set of traffic lights. Go straight across at these lights and head down a slight decline of a hill ( Northumberland Street ). There is a Post Office on your right hand side. Cross to this side of the road and continue down here until you get to a pelican crossing. Cross the two lanes and you will be able to see the Galpharm Stadium in front of you. Continue down this road ( Leeds Road ) and head towards the large Gasometer . Head literally towards this and turn right just before it to get onto Gas Works Street . Pass The Gas Works Club on your left and continue down here to the next set of traffic lights. Cross straight across at the traffic lights and you are into the stadium complex.

Approx time of walk-10/15 mins

Alternatively, there is also a taxi rank outside the Train Station .

By Bus:

For local travel advice, please ring west yorkshire metro on 0113 245 7676 Once arriving in Huddersfield , to get to the Galpharm Stadium:

From Huddersfield Bus Station
From the bus station, follow the signs for the train station, then follow as per the Train Station instructions above. The Train Station is 400 metres from the Bus Station.

Approx time of walk-15/20 mins

There are numerous buses from the Bus Station, although these obviously run on the Sunday service on Sundays. If catching one, ask for those that run along Leeds Road past the Galpharm Stadium.
