The Halliwell Jones Stadium
After 105 years at our Wilderspool home, Warrington Wolves began a new era in 2004 by moving across town to the £12m Halliwell Jones stadium where their first game attracted a capacity crowd of 14,200, the biggest attendance for a home match in 31 years.
Constructed on the site of the old Tetley Walker Brewery on Winwick Road in Warrington, the stadium provides a state of the art sporting venue, exceptional conferencing and banequetting facilities and is a focal point for community activity, incorporating the Warrington Wolves Foundation learning floor and a brand new NHS walk-in centre.
The Halliwell Jones Stadium sports a capacity of 14,206 through an innovative mix of seated and traditional terraced spectactor accomodation. The stadium comprises standing and seating on each side and end, offering supporters unrivaled flexibility. With a pitch size of 120m x 74m, it is designed for expansive and exciting rugby league.
Through our hopsitality partner, Heathcotes, we are able to offer 14 suites, rooms and executive boxes boasting natural daylight and spectacular pitch views. Each room lends itself to any event large or small from launches through to weddings and private events, seminars, conferences and exhibitions, enabling us to cater from 2 ' 500 guests.
